How a Bar of Soap Is Made

For thousands of years, man has depended on the earth for food, shelter and medicine. Many herbs have powerful medicinal properties, and many are known for aiding in specific skin irritations and ailments. After decades of applying synthetic treatments to the skin, even physicians are once again returning to the natural healing power of herbs. Please do your own research and ask your physician about natural remedies if you have questions about the use of herbs and their oils. We cannot make claims as to the effectiveness of our products in treating ailments. Every person reacts differently to the same product. We DO however, assure you that we use 100% natural herbs and essential oils in our products. We grow many of the herbs used in our soaps for color and texture in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, organically. We use artesian spring water, or sometimes glacier water from Mt. Rainier itself in our products as well. At Rainier Soapworks, we strive for quality in many ways – ingredients, preparation, fragrance and value. We strive for a product that will nourish your skin and your mind, giving you peace and refreshment.

**Note: Due to overwhelming demand, some of our latest soaps are scented with synthetic fragrance oils for those that enjoy those fragrances. We will note that clearly on the soap descriptions. If it’s marked "100% natural", you can be assured it is 100% natural! Also, many of our soaps are 100% vegetable for those that desire a vegetable soap made without animal products. Our products are all tested on family and never on animals.**
